Find Your Ideal Workspace in the Czech Republic

After spending over two years working from coworking spaces across Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, I built this guide to help remote workers, freelancers, and digital nomads find the right desk without the usual guesswork.

Why Another Coworking Guide

When I moved to Prague in 2023 as a freelance developer, I spent my first month bouncing between coworking spaces. Some had beautiful websites but terrible Wi-Fi. Others looked ordinary online but turned out to be exactly what I needed.

The problem was simple: most reviews came from people who visited once for an afternoon. You cannot evaluate a workspace in three hours. You need weeks to understand the noise patterns, the community culture, the real internet reliability during peak hours.

Every space on this site has been visited personally, often multiple times. I pay for memberships out of my own pocket. Nobody sponsors these reviews.

Brno Coworking: The Underrated Alternative

Lower prices, a strong tech community, and fewer tourists. Brno is becoming the go-to city for remote workers who want quality without the capital price tag.

Ostrava Shared Offices Worth Knowing About

The former steel capital is reinventing itself. New coworking spaces are emerging in converted industrial buildings, and the prices are hard to beat anywhere in Europe.

What I Evaluate in Every Space

Internet Reliability

Speed tests at different times of day over multiple visits. Marketing claims mean nothing without real measurements during peak hours.

Noise Levels

Measured during mornings, afternoons, and late sessions. Some spaces are silent at 9 AM and unusable by 2 PM. Context matters.

Value for Money

Price compared to what you actually get. A cheap desk with slow internet costs more in lost productivity than a pricier spot that works.

Community

The people around you shape your work day. Some spaces attract focused professionals, others feel like social clubs. Both have their place.

Location & Access

Public transport connections, parking options, nearby cafes and lunch spots. A great space in a bad location becomes a daily frustration.

Facilities

Meeting rooms, phone booths, kitchen quality, printing, locker availability. The small details that make or break a daily work routine.
